Ty’rel “Ty” Jones, Director of Post Production at Lightbox Entertainment, brings a wealth of experience in television post-production. With a background that includes collaborating with industry giants such as HBO, Netflix, National Geographic, Paramount, and BET, Ty’s journey began at Temple University in Philadelphia, where he pursued a BA in Media Studies and Production. After internships at Viacom and Atlantic Records, Ty landed his first professional role as a post-production coordinator at A+E networks in NYC, igniting his passion for the craft. Ty has worn many hats, from Assistant Editor to Story Producer, gaining expertise in every aspect of TV post-production.

In 2019, Ty founded Bigger Than Me Media, a platform dedicated to showcasing his passion projects in photography, videography, and editing, alongside promoting diversity and inclusion within the entertainment industry. Through Bigger Than Me Media, Ty not only shares his creative endeavors but also empowers individuals from underserved communities to explore and pursue rewarding careers in post-production and media.
