About the Creator

I’m Ty Jones—photographer, storyteller, and founder of Bigger Than Me Media and Echoes of Ty. My journey started in TV post-production, where I worked behind the scenes on projects with HBO, Netflix, National Geographic, BET, and more. But while I was building a career in film and television, I was also quietly searching for my own voice.

Photography became that voice. Through the lens, I found a way to document not just what I see, but who I am—my city, my people, my story. Every print I share is an echo of something real: resilience, truth, and the beauty that shows up even in the middle of struggle. That’s where Echoes of Ty comes in—it’s not just about images, it’s about connection. It’s about seeing yourself in my work, feeling the weight of a story, and carrying a piece of it with you.

This brand—my prints, my visuals, my words—is the most personal work I’ve ever done. It’s rooted in honesty, in growth, and in the belief that art can heal and bring people together. Bigger Than Me Media is my commitment to creating with purpose, and to showing others—especially those who don’t always see themselves represented—that their stories matter too.
